The Rose Nomad was started by Pio Coffrant and brings together people who are passionate about travel, culture and design. Pio is an interior architect, interior and furniture designer, hotelier and a hospitality consultant. Even though French by origin, Pio has a long relationship with India. He arrived in Pondicherry at the age of 16 via Iran and has made New Delhi, Tamil Nadu and Goa his home over the years. He launched his first boutique hotel in New Delhi in 2008 under the name Colaba House followed by the acclaimed boutique hotel and art gallery The Rose in New Delhi. He has provided design and management services to hotels such as Bungalow 99 in New Delhi and Rajakkad Estate in Tamil Nadu. 

Smriti Goyal co-manages the Rose Nomad and brings several years of experience working in Latin America, Africa, the United States and India. Recently, she was the co-owner and operational manager of a Mexican restaurant, La Bodega in New Delhi. Rose Nomad brings together her interests in travel, design, art, food and literature with her passion for hospitality.
